PRESS RELEASE
The Trust of Romanian
Entrepreneurs into Economy Goes Down
Half of the SMEs managers are skeptical about the economy evolution in 2012,
shows a study made by National Union of Romanian Employers in the period
November 21st
- December 5th,
2011. The reasons for this lack of optimism are European currency
depreciation as well the next year elections that will have negative effects at
administrative and budgetary level.
"After 22
years the Romanian state has not yet defined his prior sectors. We understand
that certain state enterprises are priority only if they are managed by the
state and not after privatization. The private enterprises might be a possible
supporting vector of national economy. UNPR considers that supporting the
private Romanian capital into European competition is a vital measure for
Romania economy in 2012" stated
Marian Petre Milut, President of UNPR.

PRESS RELEASE
Trade Unions and Employers
Organizations in Romania will co-operate outside CES
The employers
confederations representatives at national level, reunited under the umbrella of
PATROROM, and the 5 trade unions confederations have signed today, a Cooperation
Agreement through which they recognize to each other the social dialogue
partner’s quality.
"The idea of this
Agreement came out from the necessity of offering solutions for the recession
time. We think that 2012 will
be a crucial year for Romania. The economic
conditions got worse and it is for the first time when a crisis doubled by an
accelerated inflation is forecast at the level of Asia. All these problems make us to strengthen the relationship between trade unions and employers
organizations in order to be a fair one. We must give the employee the
possibility to work under decent conditions with a steady and reliable income.
Without jobs we will not be able to surpass this crisis" stated Ioan
Niculae, PATROROM President.

PRESS RELEASE
Once again, the signatory
trade unions and employers confederations report the chronic lack of interest
subject to social dialogue which Romania Govern shows positioning it, as per Law
no.62 of 2011, outside the European context set by European Unions and Labor
International Organization treaties.
At European Union's level, the social dialogue represents a unique indispensable
component of the European social model with a basis clear defined in EC treaty.

PRESS RELEASE
PATROROM: " We will build up a new CES that
is not to be subsidized by the state"
Four of Romania most important employers confederations have joined together
today under the umbrella of a new representative employer union that cover 90%
of economic branches, PATROROM. National Union of Romanian Employers (UNPR),
Romanian Employer Organization (PR), UGIR 1903 and CONPIROM will have a common
voice in the relation with Executive. The President of the new union is the
businessman Ioan Niculae, who will coordinate the Union's activity being
supported by the presidents of member employers' organizations.
To the launch press conference attended Ioan Niculae, President PatroRom,
Constantin Vasilescu, Executive President UGIR 1903, Vasile Turcu,
President CONPIROM, Marian Petre Milut, President UNPR and Gheorghe
Naghiu, President PR.
"We had
all clemency face to the actual Govern but each time we have been hit by
inefficiency. The new employers union will represent a real alternative for the
social dialogue which now is banckruptcy. The real social dialogue must be made
between employers organizations and trade unions. In this moment CES does not
represent anymore the social dialogue, it is an institution politically
subordinated whose members from employers side never led a company. In CES it is
the generation of POSDRU employers, firms that live from state grants and
European projects they can not sustain. The dialogue could not exist with two
employers parts, therefore we will see wheather trade unions talk with them or
with us", stressed Marian Petre MiluT, UNPR President.

| 2008-11-12 PRESS RELEASE |
The Constructors ask for the price reduction of building
materials
The solution for
getting out of the blockage is to cheapen the prices of the building materials,
which will generate a chain-reaction of lowering the prices for new
constructions. We go even farther and sustain the state’s involvement to be
highly necessary, through institutions like the Competition Council – in order
to prevent the big companies to form cartels, and through the buying of stocks
shares in the productive companies. This will allow us to stop the
non-competitive policy set so far by these companies in Romania,
stated the UNPR President, Mr. Marian Petre MILUT.
The SME Union Secretary General, Mr. Patrick VOLLER, guest of the Press
Conference, declared that the
SME
Union is in favor of free
market and more competition, and supports the reduction of prices for raw
materials, a very important aspect in the construction sector. Details... | | 1 2 3 4 5 [Next] [Last Page]
