2011-12-07 PRESS RELEASE

PRESS RELEASE

The Trust of Romanian Entrepreneurs into Economy Goes Down

Half of the SMEs managers are skeptical about the economy evolution in 2012, shows a study made by National Union of Romanian Employers in the period November 21st - December 5th, 2011.  The reasons for this lack of optimism are European currency depreciation as well the next year elections that will have negative effects at administrative and budgetary level.

"After 22 years the Romanian state has not yet defined his prior sectors. We understand that certain state enterprises are priority only if they are managed by the state and not after privatization. The private enterprises might be a possible supporting vector of national economy. UNPR considers that supporting the private Romanian capital into European competition is a vital measure for Romania economy in 2012" stated Marian Petre Milut, President of UNPR.

Once again, the signatory trade unions and employers confederations report the chronic lack of interest subject to social dialogue which Romania Govern shows positioning it, as per Law no.62 of 2011, outside the European context set by European Unions and Labor International Organization treaties.

At European Union's level, the social dialogue represents a unique indispensable component of the European social model with a basis clear defined in EC treaty.
